How often do you get to ask a Clinical Psychologist a question without an appointment?

This webinar has offered exactly that!

We have a list of questions for Amelia to answer—plus some time for your new ones at the end of the live webinar.

Some questions include:

“ What should I follow up on after I get my diagnosis?

“How can I help my AuDHD clients feel safer to un-mask?”

“Why do Autistic people automatically seem to connect with other Autistic people?”

“Is it harder to diagnose boys or girls on the spectrum?”

“How to make sure your everyday language is neuro-affirming?”

Please Note: The focus is on insight and reflection — not diagnosis or individual treatment.

Parenting a neurodiverse teen can feel overwhelming at times. And when everything feels like it's going wrong, if you're left wondering how to fix the connection you once had

This free guide "Connect Before Correct" is for you.

Written for parents of teens with ADHD, autism, anxiety, or intense behavioural challenges, it covers the 6 pillars I teach:

- how to pause when emotions are high

- look beneath the behaviour instead of assuming defiance

- use consequences wisely

and most importantly — how to be okay with your kids not being okay.

Inside you'll find:

  • Plain-language explanation of what's happening in the teen brain

  • Scripts for tough moments (the escalation cycle, boundary-setting, repairs)

  • The "Yes, If" scaffolding approach

  • Self-care reminders for you (because your capacity determines everything)

Monica Munro Gold Coast Family Counsellor and Educator at The Neurodiverse Network

Meet Monica

I'm a qualified counsellor and parent educator working with families and I'm also a mum to 4 neurodiverse boys and a late-diagnosed AuDHD woman.

I combine professional expertise with real lived experience.

I know the theory, but I also know the 2am worry, the eye rolls, and the relief of finally feeling understood.

This isn't about perfect parenting. It's about better parenting — the kind that keeps the door open even when things get hard.

Monica is available for 1:1 counselling sessions for parents, families and relationships at our Gold Coast Psychology clinic The Neurodiverse Network in Burleigh Heads.

She is also available for in-home family counselling and telehealth appointments.
