Meet The Team

I’ve always been deeply curious about human behaviour and the “why” behind what people do. I initially went to university to become a teacher, but chose a neuropsychology elective simply because it fit my timetable—and it completely changed my direction in becoming a Gold Coast Clinical Psychologist.

Choosing this path of becoming a Gold Coast Clinical Psychologist felt like a natural way to combine that curiosity with meaningful, person-centred work. I value being able to support people in understanding themselves more deeply, building insight, and finding ways to move forward that feel aligned with who they are.

I’m particularly drawn to working with people who are trying to make sense of themselves—often later in life, and often in the context of neurodivergence. My path to becoming a Gold Coast Accredited Mental Health Social Worker came from a deep interest in understanding people and lived experience — how we think, feel, adapt, and survive through difficult experiences.

I’ve been drawn to the impact of being misunderstood—either seeing it in others or recognising how much it can shape someone’s life, which led me to becoming a Gold Coast Clinical Psychologist. A big part of why I do this work is to help shift that experience, to help people move away from self-blame and toward a more accurate, compassionate understanding of themselves.

Becoming a Gold Coast psychologist is for me, how I combine my empathy, passion for human dignity, resilience and strong desire for fairness.
